Alongside its television debut, the film — original Spanish title Los Sueños de Pepe, released in Brazil as Os Sonhos de Pepe — is also available to stream on the Telecine digital platform, bringing the story of José "Pepe" Mujica to audiences across Brazil.
Directed by Pablo Trobo and executive produced by Daniel Florêncio and Nefeli Zygopoulou, The Dreams of Pepe was filmed over 15 years and follows Mujica's urgent call for humanity to abandon destructive consumption and embrace a new paradigm of sustainability.
The film's Brazilian theatrical distribution is handled by arthouse distributor Pandora Films. It is also available on Filmin in Spain and distributed theatrically by Moviestar in Uruguay.
